. . . by the addition of wonderful books from the working/reading library of The Arsenal's longtime Bridesburg-Philadelphia neighbors Teresa & Howard ("Stretch") Pyott .
Both Pyotts were longtime performers, organizers, spark-plugs, & devoted friends of the Philadelphia Folk Song Society, the Philadelphia Folk Festival ~ in fact, of what one appreciative writer about Stretch called anything rootsy . These are NICE scholarly/"reading" books on folk music, folk lore, labor history, history generally, religion, architecture . . . etc. . . . C ome get them & take them to new homes, please, on appropriately cheerful " free -to-maybe-$20" terms!
