AVHS ATHLETIC CALENDAR

ParentVUE & StudentVUE Mobile App Update



Families and students who use the ParentVUE or StudentVUE mobile apps should download the new versions as soon as possible. The current apps will be retired in August and will no longer function after that time.


In your device's app store, search for and download "ParentVUE (New)" and "StudentVUE (New)." Your existing login information will remain the same. If you already have logged into ParentVUE in the past, when prompted, click "Already Activated" or "No" and login using your existing username and password. If you have never logged into ParentVUE and have access to your activation key, click "Yes" and follow the prompts.


Downloading the new app(s) will ensure uninterrupted access to grades, attendance, schedules, and school communications.



Don Pick Up Day Info


There will be TWO Don Pick Up Days:


1. 10th, 11th, & 12th Graders: Monday, August 10th from 8am - 3pm.


2. 9th Graders: Wednesday, August 12th from 9 am - 3:15 pm.


What happens on Don Pick Up Day?


1) Student Photos

  • 10th & 11th grade students and any incoming 12th grade students will come to school to take photos in the MPR and receive their ID Cards. Photos will be taken from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and 1:30-5:30 pm.
  • 9th Graders (and 10th & 11th grade students who did not take their photo on August 10th) will take their student photos during freshman orientation and receive their ID cards.
  • Seniors (returning students) do not take new ID Photos; just pick up their ID Cards at the Senior Class table.

2) ASB Stamps and Class T-Shirts

  • Students who have purchased ASB memberships on FutureFund can bring their ID Cards to the Student Activities Office to get their ASB stamp and pick up their class T-shirt from the Student Activities Office.
  • Students can also purchase their ASB membership, Yearbook, or ASB/Yearbook bundle at the Student Activities Office on Don Pick Up Days.


NEW! ASB/YEARBOOK BUNDLE

 

This year we have bundled the ASB Stamp, Yearbook, and Class T-Shirt into a special bundle to purchase for only $165. This bundle is over $200+ in products. 


Each bundle includes:


1.an ASB Stamp which includes:

  • an ASB TShirt ($10)
  • a student planner ($5)
  • an Aloha Festival ticket ($20 value) 
  • a Winter Tailgate ticket
  • free entry to all home sporting events
  • $30 discount on Homecoming Tickets
  • $30 discount on Prom/Ball

2026-2027 AV Student Parking Permit


Parking Permits can be purchased at the Student Activities Office for $90 on the following dates:



1. Senior Parking Permits will be sold on Friday, August 7th, 8 am - 3 pm.

2. Junior Parking Permits will be sold on Tuesday, August 11th, 8 am - 3 pm.


These are the only dates parking permits will be sold before the first day of school.


*AV Parking Passes WILL NOT be sold on Don Pick Up Days.

  **Students must bring their valid driver's license and a printed, completed, and signed parking permit contract to purchase a parking pass.

Freshman Orientation


Orientation is for all incoming 9th-grade students to Amador.

  • Date: Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
  • Location: Amador Valley High School Football Field.



To ensure everything runs smoothly, students are split into two sessions based on their last names:

  • Session One (Last Names A-L): 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Please drop off students assigned to Session One no later than 8:50 a.m.
  • Session Two (Last Names M-Z): 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Students assigned to Session Two should be dropped off no later than 11:20 a.m.


*Only students are allowed on the orientation campus tours, Parents are welcome to go to the Don Pick Up area and purchase class T-shirts, speak with AVHS PTSA, PPIE and Leadership students about upcoming events.


Chromebook Distribution

All incoming 9th-grade students must bring their Chromebooks that were issued in middle school. Any new-to-PUSD students or incoming 9th graders who do not have a Chromebook will be directed to pick one up from D8 during freshman orientation.



Senior Sunrise


Attention Seniors: Let the fun begin! Join your class officers at Senior Sunrise at Mission Hills Park on Monday, August 10th at 6:00 am. Afterwards head back to campus for breakfast and parking spot decorating

Fall Sports


The official season for Fall sports starts on Monday, August 10, 2026. 


Contracts for each sport were due on:

  • Sideline Cheer*: May 4-8th
  • POM*: May 4-8th
  • Girls Golf: July 30, 2026
  • Girls Tennis: July 30, 2026
  • Cross Country: July 31, 2026
  • Football*: August 3, 2026
  • Girls Water Polo*: August 4, 2026
  • Boys Water Polo*: August 4, 2026
  • Girls Volleyball*: August 5, 2026
  • Girls Flag Football*: August 6, 2026


Make-up Contract submission date for all fall sports Is Friday, August 7th after 12 pm. Students must be cleared by August 10th to participate. 


*All asterisked sports require a Baseline Concussion test


Please find baseline concussion information and testing dates for each sport here. Make-up Baseline Testing will be held on Friday, August 7th at 12 pm in the Library.
