A Message from Ian R Crane

As you may or not be aware I was rushed to hospital in early April 2020 after falling ill one month earlier (nothing to do with the corona virus)!

A Bit of History ...

1. In December 2016 I developed the early symptoms of prostate cancer. Unfortunately the hospital to which I was initially referred was only prepared to offer chemo and/or radiotherapy. Having lost my sister to cancer some seven years prior and saw what these treatments did to her, I elected to reject both chemo and radiotherapy and attempted a regime of self medication.

I was able to keep the symptoms at bay until September 2019 when during my 22 date '5G: Is it Safe?' tour I realised that the cancer was starting to take hold.

With everything that was going on I elected to stay home, self medicate and self isolate (not that i had much choice :-) ) , with the support of my immediate family.

In early March 2020 I went upstairs to bed one evening and only emerged in the first week of April when I was advised by a doctor in a telephone call that if I didn't get to hospital immediately I had two days left to survive.

Needless to say I immediately called an ambulance and once at hospital it quickly became apparent that the prostate cancer was only a part of the problem.I was immediately admitted in to hospital where it was established that I had multiple issues, which had hit me all at once.

2. The hospital diagnosis revealed that somehow I had contracted a flesh eating bacteria which was destroying my lower body.

It was determined that this was the most urgent problem and the following day, Saturday 4th April, I underwent semi-conscious surgery to remove this pernicious bacteria. Whilst in the operating theatre it was revealed that all my urological and bowel functions were also under attack.

Initially there appeared to be some reluctance to subject me to the surgery which would be necessary to address these issues. Thankfully a surgical team was readily available.

The surgeon was extremly frank with me and advised me that adfter the surgery I would be returned to the ward and woken up. However, he went on to say that in his opinion the likelyhood of me surviving the surgery was very slim. So that evening i took the opportunity to speak with all my close family to advise them of the situation and to effectively say my 'goodbyes'. I have led a full life and readily accepted that if this was my time then so be it.

I then underwent the first of two operations, the first on Good Friday, 10th April 2020. Unfortunately the operation was not a complete success and I had to undergo further surgery on Easter Sunday, 12th April 2020.

Having now undergone three bouts of surgery within ten days, my surgical team were reluctant to operate a fourth time, despite the fact that there were still some complications following these surgeries.

This meant that my only chance of survival was to permit my surgeon to perform two bouts of manual internal manipulation without anaesthetic.

Despite the excruciating pain (pain I would never wish on any living soul) , the manipulations appear to have been successful and now three weeks after the last surgery I have been moved to a cottage hospital and have started a course of physiotherapy in an attempt to get out of bed and commence the recovery process.

However, I'm not out of the woods yet and am having to receive blood transfusions every few days at present, as my physical vehicle struggles to adapt to the trauma to which it has been subjected by the bacteria, cancer and the consequent surgeries.

I have enormous respect for my NHS surgical teams and the quality of NHS nursing care that I have received. Sadly my recovery has perhaps been in part at the expense of the many thousands of people who have had their routine surgery cancelled due to the current Covid19 situation. Hospitals right across the country, even the world, are effectively empty as governments wait for the impact of Covid19 which would appear to be somewhat less than originally forecast.

So, I find myself in recovery mode able to observe objectively as events unfold. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has sent messages of support and good will.

Like everyone else I have no idea how this will all pan out but what I do know is that increasingly people are doing their own research and are certainly not taking the official narrative at face value.

AV11 2020 Insight – It Ain't Over Yet

Who could have imagined, even months ago, that on the lead up to AV11 a great many of us would be shut in our homes, leaving the elderly and infirm to their fate, separated from close family and friends, and we would be instructed to stay two metres from each other in case we should become infected with Covid19.

AV11 - The Show Must Go On

On the streets we see people either mesmerised with the potent fear propaganda, and the ' we must all comply ' instructions of government, or we see people now saying ... " What on earth is going on? "

Let's be positive here and suggest that this rapid awakening and questioning is very fertile ground for Alternative Viewpoints, which is precisley what Alternative View events seek to promote.

AV11 in a hotel would have been great but this is clearly not possible. However, AV11 (new dates: Fri 8th, Sat 9th, Sun 10th May 2020) will be broadcast via livestream .

A great line up of speakers embracing some of the most insightful analysts and researchers from the UK, Ireland, Denmark and the USA will be delivering challenging presentations addressing some of the most pertinent issues that are currently facing Humanity and will undoubtedley continue to need scrutinising once this lockdown is over.
