Who’s the Best?

It seems obvious that Aspen View Academy is. While we all know this is true, let’s make it official. It’s time to recognize metro Denver’s best by voting in Colorado Community Media’s 2023 Best of the Best contest, which gives readers a chance to weigh in on what they love most about their communities.

“Best of the Best gives our community bragging rights to say, ‘we're the best,’” said Mindy Nelon, CCM marketing and community engagement specialist. “When we reach out to the winners and let them know they won, they are super excited. Best of the Best continues to grow year after year, which means our community loves it and that makes me proud to be involved.”

Contest voting opened March 1 and will continue through the end of April 15. Readers can vote on their favorites in many different categories, including automotive, beauty and wellness, community, entertainment and lifestyle, events, finance, fitness, food and beverage, home and garden, medical, pets and animals, professional, real estate, religion, retail, retirement and travel.

“Best of the Best is 100% reader voted, therefore winners are truly the Best of the Best for the communities they serve,” said CCM Advertising Director Erin Addenbrooke. “For all winners, it is an honor to display the Best of the Best logo for the entire year showing each community they are the best at what they do.”

We hope you agree that Aspen View Academy is the best school and Castle Rock and that you are willing to take a couple minutes of your time to officially vote for AVA.

General Announcements

While the Spring Soiree is Saturday, we are excited to open up bidding for the silent auction TODAY! But don't let that keep you from coming to the event. Just for coming and being in attendance you will be entered to win raffle prizes and lets not forget all the fun everyone will have! Get your ticket to the event here! We have been working hard to collect donations from our generous community and many amazing, talented AVA parents/family members. We have so many baskets, there is bound to be something for everyone. There are also Adventures with Aspen View Staff that will be auctioned off! Bidding starts now and will close the night of the event (4/1) at 8:30pm. If you are not in attendance, the committee will contact you to discuss pick-up options.

Volunteers Needed!

Please take a look at our volunteer page and see how you can help. The smile on the kids faces when their parents come into the building to volunteer is priceless!

Each month, a volunteer will be randomly chosen through a drawing to win a gift card. All you have to do to be eligible to win, is log at least ONE hour of volunteer service in the month prior to the drawing.

For Spring Individual Photos: Only students whose parents have prepaid online and are purchasing photos will get their picture taken. Please order here.

For Kindergarten Cap & Gown Photos: All Kindergarteners will get their photo taken and parents will receive one complimentary photo certificate of their child. If you would like more photos then you will need to prepay online. Please order here.

Class Photos: Class photos will be on Wednesday, April 5th. Please order here or look for the paper flyer to come home in your Thursday folder this week.

PreK Parking

Reminder: During the hours of 7:30-8:30am and 3:00-4:00pm, to park in the PreK parking spaces in the front of the building you will need your Pink PreK tag. Only PreK parents are allowed to park in the PreK parking spots.
