Dear Aspen View Academy Families,

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many things we have to be grateful for here at Aspen View Academy. This year has been an incredible one so far, and much of that is due to you—our parents and guardians—who continually support and believe in the mission and vision of our school.

Your commitment to your children’s education and to the AVA community creates a strong foundation for the success of all our students. Whether you are volunteering your time, participating in events, or simply cheering on your child and their classmates, your involvement is what makes AVA more than just a school—it makes us a family.

One of the hallmarks of Aspen View Academy is our positive climate and culture. Together, we foster an environment where every student feels valued, accepted, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. We see it every day in the smiles on students’ faces, the dedication of our staff, and the collaborative spirit of our community.

As you gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, I encourage you to celebrate the moments of joy and growth that define this year. Know that you are an essential part of what makes AVA special, and for that, I am deeply thankful.

On behalf of our entire staff, I wish you and your families a safe, happy, and restful Thanksgiving. We are grateful for your partnership and look forward to continuing this amazing school year together.

Sibling Priority for 2025-2026 Lottery

The Lottery for 2025-2026 will be held the first week in December. Please be sure to read all instructions before applying.

Current AVA Parents - if you have a child who is eligible to attend AVA next year and is not currently enrolled as a K-7th grader, please go to the AVA website or the DCSD website to complete the Open Enrollment Tool on November 1st. Donation boxes will be in the front lobby through November 22nd.

When you think of Thanksgiving, what comes to mind? Is it food, family, or maybe even football? Maybe for some, you think of community. That is what Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society thinks of. Join us in our Thanksgiving Drive to help our community. Send your kids to school with non-perishables and/or toiletries during November 18th through November 22nd to put in buckets located in their home room. For Middle School, house cup points will be rewarded and for Elementary, there will be a special prize.
