Admin Address
Celebrating Veterans Day is a great event and one that I truly cherish. I am honored that AVA will celebrate Veteran’s Day on Monday, November 11, 2019 with two assemblies for Veterans and families to attend.

  • Our morning assembly will be for our PreK - 4th grade students. It will begin at 9:00am in the gym.
  • Our afternoon assembly will be for our 5th – 8th grade students and starts at 2:30pm in the gym.

Both assemblies will include performances by AVA students.

Invite a Veteran(s) you have in your family or are friends with to join us for a special program at the school.

We are inviting all Veterans to enjoy treats before each assembly (8:30-9 for the first assembly and 2-2:30 for the second assembly)

I hope you have the chance to experience Veteran’s Day at Aspen View Academy. It truly is an amazing day!

Sibling Priority for 2019-2020 Lottery

The Lottery for 2020-2021 will be held the first week in December. Please be sure to read all instructions before applying.

Current AVA Parents - if you have a child who is eligible to attend AVA next year and is not currently enrolled as a K-7th grader, please click here to complete the Open Enrollment Tool. Be sure to use your current parent portal login (DO NOT create a new one). This is the only way we can ensure they receive "Sibling Priority." The first round of open enrollment is available from November 1st-December 2nd at 4:00pm.

There is no need to complete this for students who already attend AVA as an elementary or middle school student. They will automatically be enrolled the following year.

Current AVA PreK students must complete the Open Enrollment Tool.

If you have any questions, please stop by the front office or email

Pay for Dress of Choice

November 20th, Pay to Dress of Choice for a minimum entry of $1 donation. Funds will be collected at the school entrance. All proceeds will go to Make a Wish Foundation-Colorado. Your support and dress of choice is for a good cause. We are always so thankful for your support.

If your student is enrolled in after school clubs, they will be walked out by the club leader at their release time. We ask that you wait outside (in your car or just outside the main front door) until they are brought out.
We are looking for a few people to help us install diamond plating on the third story walls. Staff will do the measuring and cutting, so we need people who can help liquid glue the plating to the walls. We would like to start this project during parent conferences on November 21st and 22nd from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Please click here if you are able to help. Contact Mrs. Castleberry if you have any questions. Thanks in advance for your help.
November Spirit Night

Morning Carpool Reminders

Morning carpool is from 7:45am – 8:10am

We are seeing an increase in the number of tardy students in the morning. As a reminder, the morning drop-off begins at 7:45am (5 minutes earlier than last year) and continues to 8:10am. If your child arrives in the building after 8:12am they will be marked tardy.

We added the extra 5 minute drop-off window to accommodate the increase in student enrollment. We have, however, noticed very few cars arriving on the property between 7:45am and 7:55am. Also, we have observed quite a few cars arriving on AVA property after 8:10am meaning your child will be tardy. School officially begins at 8:15am so it is important to have kids in class and ready to go. Classes begin at 8:15am and having students arrive to class tardy is a distraction that can easily be avoided.
