GREETER MINISTRY LUNCHEON - OCTOBER 8

COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE - OCTOBER 15

Sunday, October 15, we are hosting a blood drive through Lifesouth Community Bloodcenters. The bus from Lifesouth will be in Altadena Park from 12:30-7:00 PM. No appointment is necessary, but you may schedule a time with THIS LINK. 

ADULT MISSION TRIP INTEREST MEETING - OCTOBER 15

The Missions Team is planning a trip to serve alongside Jeremy and Angel Martin and others with Serge in Greater London as they plant churches among South Asian immigrant communities. The trip is planned for June 30-July 8, 2024. Join us for an interest meeting on Sunday, October 15, at 12:30 PM in the Conference Room. For more information, contact Michael MacCaughelty at michael@avpc.org.

MEMBERSHIP NIGHT - OCTOBER 20

Are you thinking about church membership at Altadena? Come to our next Membership Event, Friday, October 20. Dinner is served at 6:00 PM, followed by an informational meeting. FELLOWSHIP DINNER - OCTOBER 22

Join us Sunday, October 22, in the Fellowship Hall from 6:30-8:00 PM for a time of food and fellowship.

CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED

We are asking for donations of candy for our Trunk-or-Treat event. You may also donate small toys. Look for collection tubs in the Parlor and Welcome Center. You can also contribute to the candy toy fund by following THIS LINK. Please have all donations in by October 22.

TRUNK-OR-TREAT - OCTOBER 29

Trunk-or-treat is just around the corner on October 29, and we want your decorated trunk! Just sign up and show up – candy will be provided. If you have questions or would like to sign up, email Anna Waldrip at anna@avpc.org or call the church office.

Many of you have missed reading our monthly Saltshaker during the past few months. Don’t worry! The Saltshaker will be back in November. PRAYER PROMPT BOOKMARKS

The Prayer Prompt bookmarks from the Prayer Ministry Team are now available for use. Pick up your copy from the Parlor, the Welcome Center, or by following THIS LINK. Each month there will be a specific theme and four Scripture verses for you to use in praying for the Pastoral Transition Process. The theme for the month of October is Perseverance.

OUR MISSIONARIES OF THE WEEK are Peter and Janet H. Peter and Janet are serving in a creative-access area among unreached people. They operate a small arts business and are involved in discipleship and evangelism toward the goal of church planting and growing/strengthening the existing church.
