ANNOUNCEMENTS
WOMEN'S SUMMER SMALL GROUP LUNCHEON
This Sunday, July 24, our ladies will be meeting for lunch in small groups at various locations. If you would like - invite a few friends and meet for an impromptu luncheon. Get to know some new friends and enjoy rich fellowship.
PICNIC AT THE PARK
This Saturday, July 23, we have another Picnic in the Park Outreach event. Held across the street in Altadena Park, these events are designed to engage our neighbors in fun, inviting, activities that encourage unity, connection, and friendship. A variety of boxed lunches will be available for ten dollars each. See you at 6:30 PM on Saturday.
PICTORIAL DIRECTORY
As requested by so many of you, we are working on an updated pictorial church directory. During the fellowship brunch on July 31, you will have another chance to get your picture taken for the directory, so smile and take advantage of this opportunity…it’s painless and will be over before you know it. See you at the brunch.
PRAYER MINISTRY TEAM
The Prayer Ministry Team would like to encourage you in your prayer life, both personally and corporately, and are inviting you to join others who gather during both morning worship services, to pray for the service as it is being held. You can choose which service you would like to pray for, and how often. This is a great chance to be involved in the life of our church, in a very non-threatening, welcoming environment. Whether you are praying silently or aloud is not important – the desire is to move us towards having a culture of prayer at AVPC. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Steve Barley at steven.barley28@gmail.com, or call the church offices.
LOST AND FOUND
The church lost and found is overflowing with unclaimed items. If you’ve been missing anything, check the lost and found shelf, located in the church office next to the Parlor door. Any items unclaimed by July 31 will be donated to charity.
SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP BRUNCH
Come hungry and join us July 31, during the Sunday School hour for another fun-filled fellowship brunch. Everyone is welcome to attend – even if you do not attend regularly. Good food and fun activities are planned again, so you don’t want to miss this. July 31, 9:45 AM.
