Coronavirus Update
from Actors' Warehouse
July 2020
Dear Patrons,
As you may know government officials has given the green light to move into Phase 2 for the State to reopen. As it relates to us, it allows live entertainment venues to operate at 50% capacity. Unfortunately, positive reported cases throughout Florida continue to increase and this makes many of us uneasy moving forward.

At this time, Actors' Warehouse remains closed. However, we're working very hard behind the scenes for when we do get to share the same physical space and enjoy some great live theatre.

We have assembled a Reopening Task Force . Their mission is to assess the AW space, make findings and recommendations, with the end goal to create policy and safety procedures. These evidence-based procedures will be designed to educate our volunteers and audience members on how to stay safe at the AW.

Continued Support Is Needed

As you can imagine, the longer we stay closed, the financial impact to Actors' Warehouse will be a hard one. As a result of this closure and cancellation of future events to be held at Actors' Warehouse, as of today we estimate losing close to $125,000 in revenue.

We are very fortunate to have been awarded a COVID-19 Relief Grant from the Florida Humanities and various other donations from supporters. These funds are allowing us to pay our operating expenses so that we have a space gather when the time arrives.

As a small non-profit, we rely heavily on ticket sales and donations from our patrons. For our friends who would like to support us with financial gifts, please consider supporting us as a monthly Sustainer. For $25 or more a month your gift helps Actors’ Warehouse’s programming to continue bringing engaging and quality theatre to our Gainesville arts community and for your voice/our voices to be heard.
