Here is Oregon Spotlight on Weird Sisters

In an article by Here is Oregon, Weird Sisters Freak Boutique was highlighted for their infusion of art into the shopping experience.

"How can retailers revive brick and mortar shopping? At Astoria’s Weird Sisters Freak Boutique, the answer is to infuse it with art. Here, shoppers can buy used clothes under a ceiling of stalactites and hear jokes from “experience-tenders” in a speakeasy that sells no alcohol. The space is part interactive art installation, part retail experience."
