Dear Student Affairs Colleagues,
As we move into AY25, I want to take a moment to appreciate and reflect on the incredible progress we've made this past year! Through the changes we’ve embraced, our North Star and Theory of Change have guided us in contributing to our shared goal of student success. Thank you for your commitment to prioritizing what’s best for our students.
We all know that change is inevitable, and we’re currently experiencing many positive, progressive shifts. With these changes comes the need for adaptability. In alignment with the larger initiatives across the college—particularly the Theory of Change and Design Teams—we’ve had several discussions with the Chancellor and Student Affairs Senior Leadership. Based on these conversations, we’ve adjusted our originally drafted Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to avoid overlap, empowering the Design Teams to focus on their charges fully.
During a recent L-10/Skip-Level Meeting, we explored the importance of considering political, economic, social, and technological factors (PEST Model) in our strategic planning. This exploration helped us see some of the challenges faced during campus-level implementation and highlighted the need to align our operational OKRs with broader college-wide goals.
