Greetings!

Summer has marked a rise in temperature and some changes at Civiltec. Starting the summer off with a bang, we have added many new projects, achieved project milestones, added new employees, celebrated milestones for employees, and added some visual changes to the Civiltec you are used to seeing. 

A major success has been the recent refresh of our website. We updated our branding to match the Civiltec we are today! The new site includes a new our history section, our team section, our culture section, updated projects and career sections, and a user-friendly interface. We feel it is a good representation of our current culture.

The website was just the beginning of more changes. Our core values include growing our offices across state lines while maintaining a strong culture as one company. In line with this value, we are combining our newsletters into a single newsletter to represent all Civiltec offices. What does that mean? For our clients, vendors, colleagues, and employees who subscribe, this means you will get a big picture view of what Civiltec is working on companywide each season in one central location. Look for this new newsletter just in time for the holidays. 

Employees that accomplished milestones over the summer include Shem Hawes, a principal and Branch Manager of the Fullerton Office, and Ben Tilman, Arizona Survey Manager celebrated 15 years at Civiltec. This quarter we also welcomed Brandon Redfern, Arizona Survey Technician. You can also read the staff spotlight for Tom Fischer an employee in Phoenix focusing on high-volume and time-sensitive utility reviews. With summer also comes our internship program where we welcomed five interns, David Nguyen (Monrovia), Noah Rosson (Monrovia), Ariel Lopez (Fullerton), Nick Duzsa (Phoenix), and Jimmy Brinkman (Phoenix). Their energy and knowledge are inspiring and I look forward to seeing their professional growth over the summer. 

In project news, Civiltec recently completed work on the Sunrise Boulevard Reconstruction. Work on this project included complete pavement reconstruction and drainage system upgrades. We also have been busy designing and building large and small-diameter utility pipelines, water tanks, booster pump stations, and all kinds of public works infrastructure. To date, we have added about 175 new projects to our workload in 2022!

Construction was recently finished for the upgraded pavement, partial curb replacements, new gutters, and drainage improvements on nearly one mile of Sunrise Boulevard between Sharp Shooter Way and
Cactus Place.
