Abbey Centre Newsletter November 2020

While we regret to inform you that this year's Remembrance Day ceremony will not be taking place, we ask that you continue to remember by supporting the Canadian Legion and purchase a poppy. Wear it proudly over your heart to pay tribute to those who have and continue to serve to keep us free.

The Abbey Centre will be open 11 am - 5 pm on November 11.
In Memoriam
Tina Marie Hall
May 16, 1972 - October 4, 2020
It is with a heavy heart that we had to say good-bye to one of our own in October. Tina Hall passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Sympathies go out to her family, her husband John and her daughter Alicia as they deal with this tremendous loss.

Tina made an impact in the lives of many people including her coworkers at the Town of Blackfalds, as well as many members and guests at the Abbey Centre. She took enormous pride in the work she performed because she genuinely cared for the Abbey Centre and all the people within it.

Her positive attitude and beaming smile would often brighten up a person’s day. She was a good friend who was loved by us all and she will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers people are invited to make a donation to the Blackfalds Christmas Bureau by contacting FCSS @ 403.600.9066.
