Hello from Abby's Closet!

We hope everyone is staying safe and enjoying the start of summer. The Abby's Closet Board of Directors continues to work together to figure out next steps as we navigate our new normal during this pandemic. We are brainstorming ways to work around the obstacles and are hopeful that when spring arrives, we will be posed and ready to start to once again distribute beautiful prom dresses!

Our wonderful Abby's Closet drop-off sites have also been affected by the pandemic. We have checked in with all of our locations to confirm they can still collect for us and to verify hours of operation. If you are interested in making a dress or accessory donation we strongly recommend calling any drop-off sites ahead of time before heading out. Many have reduced and/or shifted hours and a few have decided to put collections on hold. We have tried to update our list of sites to the best of our knowledge but know that the current situation is very fluid and changing often. We want to thank our drop-off sites for their continued support.

One longtime drop-off site for Abby's Closet has been Spanky's Legendary Consignment in Vancouver. Spanky’s is a high-end clothing resale store and has been a top donation site for Abby's Closet over the years. They recently reopened after closing due to the pandemic. We encourage everyone to show support to Spanky's and our other retail drop-off sites as they weather these uncertain times.
