114 Flower Bouquets Delivered to Abilene Nursing Home Residents
A flower shop in Abilene spent the day delivering 114 bouquets of flowers to every nursing home resident in town.

With Christmas just a few days away, Danielle Taylor and Calista Wilson, co-owners of The Flower Box, wanted to do something special for nursing home residents who’ve been confined to their rooms.

“We are going to fill the rooms of all of the nursing home residents here in Abilene so that they can have something to bring them joy for Christmas.”

CEO Frosty 5k/2 mil Run/Walk
Please join us for the CEO Frosty 5k/2 mile Run/Walk on January 16th at the Abilene Armory! The races begin at 9 am. The 5k is timed, the 2 mile is not.

The Dickinson County CEO program is putting this event on. They are a class of high school entrepreneurs who meet every morning from 7:30-9 to visit local businesses and talk to local business leaders. This 5k is their class business, and the money raised at this 5k will be the capital for individual businesses that the students will each start in the spring!
