Should you be considering obtaining an investment for your startup idea, please remember the 6 "P"s the investor will be evaluating.
They are:
1. Person
(That's you bright eyes. Come across as confident and answer any questions presented to you with honesty.)
2. Product
(That's the industry, product or service. Should your intended investor typically invest only in real estate, they probably won't be a good investment prospect if you are inventing a widget.)
3. Process
(What's their investment money to be used for. If it's to pay you a salary to get the idea off the ground, the investor will most likely decline the opportunity.)
4. Progress
(How do you intend to monitor and report on your project?)
5. Performance
(What benchmarks will you be using for implementation?)
6. Payback
(What amount and when will the investor receive their return on investment?)

Sultan Mehmed Il Fatih, 21, and his Ottoman forces
break the siege of Constantinople
after almost two months of fierce fighting. The Western world's Christian power center will be converted to a capital of Islam and the Ottoman Empire. Though Mehmed II will rename the city 'Islambol' it will officially be Istanbul until 1930.

Charles II
ends a nine-year exile, returning to London to reclaim his throne.
The Restoration
will end in 1688 when the
Glorious Revolution
establishes the supremacy of Parliament over the monarchy.

New Zealand's Edmund Hillary and Nepal's Tenzing Norgay stand at more than 29,000 feet atop the highest spot on earth. They remain on Mt. Everest's summit just 15 minutes before Tenzing leaves an offering of chocolate, and Hillary a cross, and then begin their long, arduous descent.

A not-for-profit cooperative association of independent businesses, founded from an economic development research project on the
importance of small business development conducted by the
Houston Chamber of Commerce in the late 1970's.
With our first Co-Op meeting held March 14, 1983, to date we've worked with 51,47
8 people, generating 44,120 tips, leads, referrals and items of new business, generating revenues exceeding one billion dollars, founded the Entrepreneurial Development Center - Houston's first and Texas' oldest small business incubator and co-working space, First Houston Small Business Seed Capital Fund - literally the first small business seed capital fund in Houston, the Womens Business Center - first business incubator for women business owners in the country with residency space and the Virtual Business Center - the first remote business incubator in the world - all totally without public funding, grants, gifts, donations or contributions.
Further, it was our Entrepreneurial Research Division that conclusively demonstrated "entrepreneurship" could be taught in a classroom environment, resulting in colleges and universities, globally, commencing entrepreneurial classes and courses.
