Abreu 'Rothwell Hyde' Red 2017
This newly released library offering is comprised of fruit from the legendary viticulturist David Abreu’s Cappella and Madrona Ranch in the western side of St. Helena and Las Posadas Vineyard on Howell Mountain. It captures all the Abreu signatures in a more approachable style that also comes with a relatively accessible price tag by Napa Valley standards. The 2017 is mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot rounding out the profile. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot comes from Madrona Ranch and Cappella and the Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot comes from Las Posadas. Scents of blue fruit, graphite, charcoal dominate the palate with supple tannins that will mellow out with more time in the bottle or with an hour-long decant. Like in previous vintages, this is a leader in its price point because of its style, structure, and aging potential. Abreu Vineyards is by far one of the best producers coming out of California today. Coming from the viticulture side, David Abreu farms his vineyards meticulously and their wines show it. $315/bottle, $885/3-Pack ($295/bottle) after special pricing.

Debut Vintage of FUTO 'SETA'...
Welcome to the first vintage of SETA. Made by Jason Exposto and sourced from FUTO’s estate vineyard blocks, these two releases are an incredible addition to this Oakville and Stags Leap District winery. As Tom Futo explains, “We find that many of our components, through singularly alluring and possessing very attractive attributes, are not utilized in the final blends of the single vineyard tier.” Simply put, they are delicious and a great foray into what FUTO offers.

FUTO ‘SETA’ Red 2021
Mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with a little Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot, this 2021 is a showstopper, especially given its pedigree in winemaking and vineyard terroir. With an hour decant, it evolves into a deep noted Red that showcases FUTO’s estate vineyards in western Oakville and Stags Leap District. “The full-bodied palate is layered and intense, featuring exquisitely ripe, fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness. Crushed blueberries, fresh blackcurrants, and black cherry preserves with an evocative undercurrent of licorice, sandalwood, and clove oil.” $295/bottle

FUTO ‘SETA’ Sauvignon Blanc 2022
Jason Exposto, longtime winemaker, has been on the FUTO team since the beginning. He not only oversees winemaking but the farming side as well. That sort of innate ability to manage both sides of production has always helped this Oakville estate property make great wine. For this newest offering, Jason describes the wine as offering ‘chalk and crushed rocks that open out to a core of ripe pears, yellow apples, and white floral. It’s superbly silky texture, framing the tight-knit apple and citrus layers, and supported by a refreshing backbone of soft acidity.’ This is a sophisticated White that glides onto the palate with immense satisfaction. $165/bottle, $465/3-Pack ($155/bottle) after special pricing.

Teeter Totter California Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Through his winemaking ventures at Realm and with Fait-Main, Benoit Touquette has the relationships to source from multiple, high-quality vineyard sites throughout Napa Valley, including Andy Beckstoffer's To Kalon, Las Piedras, and Dr. Crane Vineyard. In addition, he has also gotten connected with premier grower vineyards in Paso Robles and Lake County. This is the blend of all of his efforts with great growers in these regions and marks the first vintage of this new label. This new offering “bursts with ripe red fruits, dark cherries, juicy strawberries, and currants. This is Cabernet at its fruity best, full-bodied and juicy with balanced acidity and sweetness on the palate. Smooth tannins, a comple mid-palate, and a great finish make this a wine that everyone wants in their glass.” $35/bottle, $96/3-Pack ($32/bottle) after special pricing.

Capiaux 'Chimera' Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2022
Continually over-delivering each vintage, the 2022 'Chimera' from Sean Capiaux is no exception. Chimera is the name taken from Greek mythology- a monster comprised of three different animals, which is depicted on the label. The original vintage was comprised of three grower vineyards. This newest vintage has four grower vineyards in its blend. Medium-bodied with dark red and purple fruit notes, it is balanced with a touch of earthiness and cobbler spice. Sean Capiaux, while most known in Napa Valley as the winemaker of O'Shaughnessy, has also been making terroir-driven, honest and delicious Pinot Noirs from Russian River Valley and Santa Lucia Highlands since the mid-1990's. $45/bottle, $120/3-Pack ($40/bottle) after special pricing.

T. Berkley ‘Norgard’ Mendocino Chenin Blanc 2021
Winemaker Taylor Boydstun was unsure of a career-path when he joined Americorps and began traveling after college. This travel led him to winery internships in Austria, Australia, and California. He found a home making Cabernet Sauvignon for Teachworth Vineyard on Napa Valley’s Diamond Mountain, but his heart was with the varieties Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, which inspired him to create T. Berkley, named for his grandfather. ‘Norgard’ is fermented in a combination of large French oak puncheons, cement and stainless steel and aged for one year on fine lees. The result is a textured lengthy mid-palate with loads of citrus and a delightfully refreshing finish. $35/bottle, $90/3-Pack ($30/bottle) after special pricing.

Last Call from the Cellar- Rudd 'Crossroads by Rudd' Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
This is the fourth release of Crossroads Cabernet Sauvignon and comes from Rudd’s 48-acre vineyard, all 100% estate fruit and is the best vintage yet, thanks to the incredible 2019 growing season. This vintage expression of Cabernet Sauvignon fills the glass with “black cherries, dark cocoa nib, and a hint of baked sweetness. These familiar aromas from our Oakville Estate are also found on the first sip, with a pop of ripe plum and savory cooking herbs that are reminiscent of the fresh outdoors on a trek through the Tahoe mountains. That combination of luscious fruit and fresh herbs is completed by the plush, velvety tannins on the finish. With every sip, the 2019 Crossroads Cabernet Sauvignon shows how a well-crafted companion wine should taste — balanced, structured, and unbelievably delicious.” Crossroads is estate grown, coming from the same vineyards, and crafted by the same winemaking team as Rudd Estate, making it a reflection of the place and the people of Rudd Estate. Despite the pedigree of an Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon and Mt. Veeder Sauvignon Blanc, Crossroads is priced accessibly and is meant to be enjoyed upon release. $90/bottle, $80/bottle after special pricing.
