An important election is quickly approaching on April 7th and your vote matters. Please take time to make your voice heard by voting in the spring election.
Due to concerns over the COVID-19 virus, voters are encouraged to vote absentee by mail. You can obtain a ballot, register to vote, and see where you vote at
MyVote.WI.gov.
Many communities in our area have suspended or limited in-person absentee voting. Also, many are encouraging voters to bring their own black-ink or black felt pen to the polls.
I have included information on in-person absentee voting from around the 8th Senate District below.
Bayside
Brown Deer
In person early voting is suspended due to COVID-19. Anyone needing to register or change their address should make an appointment with the Village Clerk.

Butler
In-person absentee is available at Village Hall (12621 West Hampton Avenue, Butler, WI) until Friday April 3, 2020 – Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (April 3rd until 5:00 p.m.)
Erin
In-person absentee voting is available a the Erin Town Hall (1846 State Hwy 83) on Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to noon and from 1:00 pm to 4:0o pm through April 2nd. On Friday, April 3rd, in-person absentee voting will be available from noon until 5:00 pm.
Fox Point
Village Hall is currently closed and early voting is suspended due to COVID-19 concerns.

Germantown
In-person absentee voting is available on March 27th, 8:00 am–4:30 pm; March 28th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm; March 30, 8 am–4:30 pm; March 31st through April 2nd, from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm; and on April 3rd, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Absentee Voting at the Senior Center has been cancelled.
Glendale
City hall is closed and in-person absentee voting is suspended due to COVID-19 concerns.

Grafton
- In-person absentee voting is available at Village Hall (860 Badger Circle).
- Voters must use the NORTHEAST door to Village Hall, not the front door, and enter directly into the voting area. Signs will be posted to help guide you to the appropriate entrance.
- Access will be limited to two (2) voters at a time. Please be prepared for a slight wait time, outdoors, and be sure to observe social distancing guidelines of a minimum of 6 feet between voters while waiting.
- The voting area is ADA accessible, ample parking is also available.
- Voters are urged to bring their own BLACK PENS to complete their ballots. Pens will be available on site as well.
Lannon
In-person absentee voting is available at the Lannon Village Hall (20399 W. Main Street) during regular business hours. Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday: 8:00 a.m. to Noon
Lisbon
In-person absentee voting is available a the Lisbon Town Hall (W234N8676 Woodside Road) during regular business hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Menomonee Falls
In-person absentee voting is available at Village Hall (W156 N8480 Pilgrim Road) Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Mequon
Absentee In-Person voting is still scheduled to take place in the Council Chambers March 23rd through April 3rd. Please enter from the doors facing Cedarburg Road. If you need handicap accessibility please use the doors in the rear of city hall. Please be advised; maximum occupancy - per the CDC guidelines & the Governor's mandate - is 10 people total within the Council Chambers. Be prepared to wait externally!
Milwaukee
The city of Milwaukee is no longer offering absentee in-person voting due to concerns over COVID-19.
Richfield
The Village of Richfield is offering “drive-through” absentee voting through April 3rd. Residents can vote Monday through Friday from 8:00 am through 4:00 pm. Voting is extended to 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 26th and to 5:00 pm on Friday, April 3rd.
River Hills
City hall is closed and in-person absentee voting is suspended due to COVID-19 concerns.

In-person absentee voting is available at the Sussex Civic Center (N64W23760 Main Street) Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm until Friday, April 3rd.
Thiensville
The village is encouraging all residents to vote by mail. However, in-person voting is available. Please call the Village Hall for dates and times.
Whitefish Bay
Village Hall is closed and in-person absentee voting is suspended due to COVID-19.
