Request Your Absentee Ballot

Out of concerns for public health and safety in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City Clerk-Treasurer's office is encouraging all voters to consider voting by absentee ballot in the August 11 and November 3, 2020 elections. No excuses are needed to request an absentee ballot, and any registered voter can request an absentee ballot on your smartphone, tablet or computer at www.myvote.wi.gov.

Help yourself by requesting your absentee ballot today for the August 11 and November 3rd elections. Voters should also be aware that there will only be two polling places for August 11, 2020. Wards 1-12 will vote at the Beloit Historical Society and Wards 13-25 will vote at Central Christian Church. Early in-person Absentee Voting will occur at City Hall July 27 through August 7.

All guests attending the Beloit Farmers' Market are now required to wear a face covering while in line and attending the market. This requirement is being done to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Exceptions apply to children under the age of 2 and individuals with respiratory disabilities.

Beloit Counts. You Count.
Shape Your Future!
Please respond to the Census
As of July 15, Beloit's response rate for the U.S. Census is 66.5%, which is slightly lower than the state average of 68.9% but higher than the national self-response rate of 62.1%.

Starting in July, census takers will visit homes that haven't yet responded to the 2020 Census. Census takers will wear masks and follow local public health guidelines. If someone visits your home, make sure they have a valid ID badge with their photo, a US Dept. of Commerce watermark, and an expiration date. Census workers may also carry Census Bureau bags and other equipment with the Census Bureau logo.

The Beloit Public Library is now open for the use of computers. The questionnaire takes about 10 minutes to complete.
