Hi friend,  

I hope this note finds you well! There have been a lot of cool art things happening lately. One is that Carolyn and I both had pieces in a little show here in Akron at the Bluff Blue Door gallery. Here's mine--it's a painting of our front-yard garden called "Prayer Yarden". It was a lot of fun!

If you are painting at home or doing other creative work I would LOVE it if you'd send it along--it's so uplifting to me to see what people are creating!

I am talking with Summit Artspace about getting some studio space at the location in Barberton--I hope by the next time I write you, this will be a reality! I will be able to offer workshops on a very regular basis there, and also at the Akron Artspace location!

Similarly formatted, I'm offering Advent Meditative Painting for groups who may be looking for a retreat-like painting experience for this spiritual season.

There's several fundraisers on the docket (click here for info on fundraisers), and also several Sip and Paint events coming up. The "Abstract Angels" painting is really cool-- we'll use palette knives over a brush-painted background. I think they'll be extraordinary compositions!
