Events & Information for the FGCU Community

April 8, 2024

Thank you for attending "Crossing the Political Divide," an event presented by the Office of Public Policy Events (OPPE).

FGCU faculty, staff, students and community members engaged with Florida House State Representatives Spencer Roach (Republican from North Fort Myers) and Hillary Cassel (Democrat from Hollywood) in a conversation about their journey as co-sponsors of the proposed House Bill 1213 regarding revisions to windstorm insurance coverage. The April 3rd event session marked the fourth and last OPPE event for the 2023-2024 academic year.
