My name is Jillian Hallisey and I am the GA for MIGSS (Multicultural Initiatives for Graduate Student Success)for the 2022/23 academic year. MIGSS aims to assist in the recruitment and retention of underrepresented populations into graduate education at BGSU by coordinating an array of events and services to support these students. MIGSS is working alongside the Graduate College, Graduate Student Senate (GSS), and the Office of Multicultural Affairs to plan some great events. I am so excited to see where the year takes us!
For our first event, MIGSS is hosting a Meet and Greet Luncheon with GSS. This is a great way for graduate students and faculty to take a break from their busy day to grab some lunch, mingle, and see what other exciting events are coming up. The Meet and Greet Luncheon will take place Wednesday October 5, from 12:00-1:30 in Mylander Room 207 (2nd floor BTSU). We hope to see you there!
**GA supervisors: If you want to see your GA spotlighted for their good work this academic year, reach out to Alexia at alexiac@bgsu.edu to find out how to apply.
