Join Dr. Joseph Flynn, Associate Director of the Center for Black Studies and Associate Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at NIU, for a discussion-based seminar to explore how we can build awareness and strategies for social change as an institution and as a society. Participants will have an opportunity to apply concepts from Dr. Flynn’s book, White Fatigue: Rethinking Resistance for Social Justice, to our context with a group of Harper colleagues. This course is running with faculty from across divisions and is also appropriate for staff. Please watch the interview with Dr. Flynn for more information.
