Academy of the Holy Names to Offer New Testing Dates,

Scholarship Opportunities for New Applicants

AHN to Expand Opportunities to Sit for Scholarship Qualifying Exam

Up to ½ Tuition Awards Available

Online Registration is Now Available

(Albany) – Friday, January 6, 2023. Dr. Martin Kilbridge, President of Academy of the Holy Names, announced today Holy Names will be offering more admissions testing opportunities for prospective students starting this month. The exam serves as a scholarship qualifying exam as well as assisting with student placement. Up to ½ tuition awards will be given to high scoring students. In prior years, the exam was offered only once in November.

“We are excited to offer more opportunities for students of outstanding ability to qualify for scholarships,” Kilbridge said. “Holy Names has long been associated with quality academics; offering more scholarship exams and more scholarships recognizes that heritage and rewards hardworking and intelligent applicants throughout the year.”

Upcoming exam dates include:

• Saturday, January 21, 8:30 a.m.
• Saturday, February 11, 8:30 a.m.
• Saturday, March 18, 8:30 a.m.

All exams will be held at Academy of the Holy Names. Requested arrival time for the exams is 8:15 a.m. Testing is recommended for admissions, but currently optional for new students. Beginning July 1, testing will be mandatory for all student applicants
