Acadience™ Reading Diagnostic: Phonemic Awareness & Word Reading and Decoding (PA & WRD) Training
Acadience Reading Diagnostic PA & WRD™ is an advanced diagnostic assessment tool designed to provide additional in-depth information to help improve instruction for students in grades K-6 and for older students with very low skills. It is un-timed and individually administered.
Acadience Learning
PA & WRD measures are rigorously researched and are:
  • Highly rated in terms of usefulness of data and ease of use
  • Used to assess each of the key basic early literacy skills: Phonological Awareness, Alphabetic Principle, Accuracy and Fluency with Connected Text, Comprehension, and Vocabulary
  • Aligned with the CCSS
  • Time-efficient and cost-effective
  • Linked to Acadience Reading Assessments, but can be used for students not reaching benchmark on any screener.
Prerequisite

Individuals must have attended Acadience Reading Pathways of Progress and Survey prior to registering.

Target Audience

Individuals who are interested in using PA & WRD to gather additional diagnostic information about a student's reading skills.

Free to partnering ISDs/Districts, $20.00 for all other participants.

January 28, 2020 or upon meeting session capacity, whichever occurs first.

Registration is completed through Wisdomwhere, MIBLSI’s online registration system which requires a user account. If you have never registered for a MIBLSI event, first create a user account.
Once you have created a user account, or if you already have one, you may register for the training event.

Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing important event information. Please read it carefully. If you do not receive a confirmation email contact the Event Contact.
Event Cancellation : MIBLSI may cancel any training that does not have at least 10 people registered. In this case, MIBLSI would refund the registration fee, if any, to the participant or his/her employer.
*Physical attendance is required to receive the training materials.
