From our annual conference, Red Book training, new online Red Book Training Course , customized state trainings, and presenting at national conferences NACC provided high-quality legal education to over 2000 lawyers.

and 2 New States Open for CWLS Certification
NACC congratulates the 24 attorneys and judges who succeeded in becoming certified Child Welfare Law Specialists (CWLS) this year. Consider making this professional achievement your New Year's resolution and take advantage of member discounts on the CWLS certification application fee.

NACC proud the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) endorsed NACC's CWLS Certification program earlier this year! Also this year, NACC opened CWLS certification to attorneys and judges in Maryland and Illinois, growing the national impact of this specialty credential.
NACC is honored to carry on the legacy of the National Quality Improvement Center on the Representation of Children in the Child Welfare System (QIC-ChildRep).

NACC now manages ImproveChildRep.org , elevating the project's tools, training materials, state law surveys, and policy recommendations.

We encourage practitioners tp utilize these publicly accessible resources.

10 New State Coordinators
NACC's inaugural cohort of State Coordinators met this year to help lead NACC’s expanded outreach and provide localized support to a growing network of child welfare attorneys. We look forward to doubling their ranks in 2020!

1 New Legal Director: Allison Green
NACC was thrilled to welcome Allison Green, JD, CWLS to our team this year as Legal Director. With her expertise on Family First and Title IV-E Funding for Legal Representation, she's been busy providing training and helping states utilize new resources to support children and families. NACC looks forward to hiring a new Senior Training Attorney in 2020!
