Information from the agent and our own observations of residents in the building led us to believe that the target buyer we should stage for would be a couple, probably older, looking for an apartment with a secondary bedroom to be used as an office, and with living spaces larges enough to entertain family and friends.

So we updated the dining room light fixture and brought in sophisticated, transitional-looking furniture and decorative accessories, and it worked! The seller received three offers only three weeks after listing it, and the apartment is now in contract!
