What's Happening at the Library
The City of Lakeland has three libraries that are part of the larger Polk County Library Cooperative,
this cooperative includes 16 local libraries. You can explore the shelves looking for a new book to read, attend storytime, use a computer, or learn something new.

Looking for a contactless option to pick up your library items? Try our new book lockers located inside Kelly Recreation Complex, 404 Imperial Blvd!

How it works:
  1. Place items on hold online, by phone, or in person at your local library.
  2. Choose “Lakeland Library Lockers” as the pickup location.
  3. Once you are notified the items are available, visit the book lockers and scan your library card to retrieve your items.
Adult Athletics Leagues
Looking for an adult sports league? The City of Lakeland offers a team for everyone.

You can quickly and easily locate parks and recreation facilities in the Lakeland area using Parks Finder. Sortable by address, amenities, and more. 
Video Game Rumble
Join us for a video game rumble on the last Saturday of the month. Come to play or come to watch as participants "battle-it-out" on Fortnite, Madden22, NBA2k, Rocket League, HALO, and more. Play Xbox and check out the Oculus 2!
