A Message From Our City Manager
We are quickly approaching a very special time of year. Please take a moment to celebrate our loved ones, especially those working in the healthcare profession, our first responders and those serving in our military during this holiday season.
This time of year allows us to reflect on the past and initiate plans for the future. Many of us will make resolutions for the New Year. Most of these will be related to dieting, health and exercise. For our professional lives, we will set goals for better organization, production efficiencies and overall improvement.
To be successful in reaching our goals, we must have a strong commitment to make changes and we must keep track of our progress. As a community and as a nation, we have experienced several challenges in the past few years. We have responded with changes, and we are in a much better place for them. As an organization, we continue to move forward serving our citizens with exemplary municipal services.
As Lakeland’s City Manager, I am dedicated to making the City of Lakeland a great place to live, work and play. Our vision is to be a vibrant, culturally inclusive world-class community and we could not achieve this without our many hard-working and dedicated City of Lakeland employees. Alongside our great employees, I am very proud to serve the citizens of Lakeland. We look forward to the very best days ahead.
