Removing Barriers,

Creating Communities of Belonging.

April 2025

"Almighty and everlasting God, in your tender love for us you sent your Son our Savior Jesus Christ to take upon himself our nature, and to suffer death upon the Cross, giving us the example of his great humility: Mercifully grant that we may walk in the way of his suffering, and come to share in his resurrection; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen."

(Collect for Palm Sunday)

I pray you are having a meaningful Holy Week as we walk through the final days of Jesus' life on earth. I recently perused how various churches were celebrating Holy Week. What a joy to see the variety of expressions of services and activities to make Jesus' life and redemptive work meaningful in each local context. Let's continue to pray for transformed lives during this Holy Week and Eastertide.

Monday after Easter, we will have our next virtual gathering with a Round-table Discussion focused on disclosure of disability. There are many variables related to what a person chooses to share and to whom the info is shared. We look forward to a fruitful discussion facilitated by Dr. Elena Rhodes and Beth Kirby. Looking forward to the insights we will learn from one another.

May you be blessed during Holy Week,

peace to those who were near. For through him we
