Marketing video was a collaborating effort
Everyone has their favorite attraction or "go-to spot" in and around Redding. That's why the Redding CVB asked for Redding residents to collaborate on a video highlighting the Top 10 Attractions in Redding and the surrounding communities, also known as Shasta Cascade and UpStateCA.

Through multiple channels (including this very newsletter), the Redding CVB team accumulated votes and the video creation process began. Having local expertise goes a long way in terms of establishing authenticity to visitors so they can know where to go and what to do on their trip. We are thankful for the city-wide collaboration with several local organizations and individuals lending a helping hand to make this project possible.

Creating a visually stunning brochure or updating your business' website is a lot easier now that the Redding Visitors Bureau has a digital asset management system for everyone to use. Best of all, it's FREE ! Yes, you read that correctly!

Our large library of rights-approved photos, produced video and b-roll is organized by category and features a search function to find what you're looking for in the easiest way possible!

The Redding CVB team is adding new assets daily to the library so bookmark it and keep coming back to see what's new. This can be used for any marketing materials such as social media, website, brochures and commercials. We've even had some businesses request photos to print and hang in their office.

It's simple to use: all you have to do is register for a free account to download a file.

LOOK FOR THE GOLD STAR

County-wide safety protocols picking up exposure in Sacramento area
Redding's Pledge of fresh air, clean water and open spaces while recommending to adhere to social distancing and health and safety protocols is well-received by visitors and locals alike. Everyone likes to know they are safe wherever they are going.

Taking it one step further, the Redding CVB is working in collaboration with the Redding Chamber of Commerce and Shasta County Health & Human Services on their Gold Star Program by bringing added exposure to the idea that Shasta County businesses are vowing for safe operating procedures. The Redding CVB added digital marketing in the Sacramento area on the Gold Star Program and Redding's Pledge to show potential visitors that our community is a safe and fun option as a vacation destination, while asking them to pledge back respectfully.
