ReelAbilities Boston Returns to Cambridge with DEFIANT LIVES!

Join the ReelAbilities Boston Film Festival and Disability Reframed: A Community Film Series for Defiant Lives, the previously untold story of how the disability rights movement in the United States, Britain and Australia changed the world we live in today. Defiant Lives weaves together archival footage with personal stories of disabled men and women as they fought for independence and control over their lives.

We have a terrific panel of experts who will speak following the film. While free to attend, we highly recommend registering to reserve your spot!

Science in the City kicks off the Cambridge Science Festival, and CCPD is joining in the fun this year, along with many other City departments and programs! Find us in the Mayor's Lounge on the second floor of City Hall. In addition to holding an informational table, we are hosting the following events (also in the Mayor's Lounge):

5:00 -- Presentation: Everything You Wanted to Know about Service Animals by Kate, Rachel, & their service dogs!
