AFSI Newsletter - February 2021
Accessing Courses, Tools, and Publications on AFSI's Redesigned Website
Regular users of the AFSI website will have noticed a very different look and feel over the past week. In addition to a complete visual refresh, the site has been redesigned to make it easier for new audiences to understand who we are as an organization, what we do, and why we do it. While we will spotlight various aspects of our website update in future communications, this newsletter is dedicated to making sure you can find popular resources the next time you visit. While you are there, we invite you to take a few moments discovering exciting additions to foodsystems.org and learning more about our focus areas, team, and activities.
E-Learning Courses
The new website design incorporates easy access to AFSI’s library of e-learning courses. You can navigate to the portal from the homepage by hovering over "Learn" on the menu bar and clicking "Access E-learning," or directly using the link below. If you have previously generated a username and password, these are unchanged, and once signed in, you can go to your student profile and pick up where you left off. Our courses are freely available to stakeholders, so please do not hesitate to recommend them to friends and colleagues.

Databases and Tools
Links to AFSI's Global Environmental Zones Explorer (GEnZ), World Nutrient Databases for Dietary Studies (WNDDS), and Crop Composition Database (CCDB) are now consolidated under the "Tools" menu, located at the top-right corner of the homepage. You may also scroll down the page until you find the pictured icons. When logged in, those who already have an account for e-learning courses will automatically be able to access our tools. Otherwise, registration is quick, easy, and free–just fill out a short form located on the landing pages of any of our tools.

Publications
All our publications, including our extensive library of protein monographs, can be accessed from the home page by hovering over "Discover" on the menu bar and clicking "Publications" or "Protein Monographs." Publications are now searchable by topic, keyword, author, and publication year.

As with all web development projects, there will be a short transitional period for fine-tuning and refinement. If you experience any difficulties finding what you need, please never hesitate to contact us at ag@foodsystems.org.
