The Competitive stream begins with the Mini Tennis / Little Aces Team, a program that prepares young players for competitive play. The next level is the Futures Team program where players usually get their first experience with tournaments in the U8 category. Subsequent categories represent the path for dedicated players.

MINI TENNIS TEAM / LITTLE ACES TEAM  
Birth Year: 2014 / 2015

The Little Aces / Mini Tennis Teams are for players who have already been exposed to the fundamentals of tennis and are able to rally with a coach over the net. The 3rd day participation allows players to be eligible for Tennis Canada’s Little Aces benefit package.

Mini Tennis Team: Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 5pm - 6:30pm.
Little Aces Team: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5pm - 6:30pm.
Cost:
Mini Tennis 2 days; $3,085.
Little Aces 3 days: $4,175.
TTC Membership is included in cost.

FUTURES TEAM
Birth Year: 2012 / 2013

The Futures Team is for players who are transitioning from Little Aces / Mini Tennis Team and will begin competing in tournaments. Players are required to participate in the program a minimum of 3 times per week.

When: Monday - Friday from 5 - 7pm. Saturday 7 - 9am, Sunday 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
Cost:
3 days: $7,270.
4 days: $8,650.
TTC Membership is included in the cost.
CHAMPIONS TEAM  
Birth Year: 2011 / 2012

The Champions Team is for players who are interested in acquiring the skills and tactics for full court [green ball) high performance / tournament tennis. Players are required to participate in the program a minimum of 3 times per week.

When: Monday - Friday 5pm - 7pm, Saturday 7am - 9am and Sunday 5pm - 7pm.
Cost:
3 days: $7,270.
4 days: $8,650.
TTC membership is included in the cost.

U12 PROVINCIAL TEAM
For players born in 2009 / 2010

For committed U12 players who are transitioning from the Champions team [green dot] and who are competing in OTA U12 tournaments. Players are required to participate in the program a minimum of 3 times per week. Players can add additional days in the National Team (contact Tennis Director).

When: Tuesday, Thursday 5 - 7pm and Sunday 7 - 9:30am,
Cost:
3 days: $7,270.
TTC membership is included in the cost.

PROVINCIAL / NATIONAL TEAM
Age 12 - 16

For committed U12 - U18 players who compete at a Provincial or National level. Players are required to participate in the program 3-5 times per week.

When: Monday - Friday 3:30 - 6:30pm, Sunday 7 - 9:30am
Cost:
3 days: $10,595.
4 days: $12,950.
5 days: $14,400.
TTC membership is included in the cost.

INTERNATIONAL TEAM

The International Team is designed for players wishing to train in the morning only, or in addition to the Provincial / National Team program. Players who are registered in both the International Team and Provincial/National Team will receive an individual annual plan and coaching at selected tournaments. Players training in both the morning and afternoon
provide themselves the opportunity to meet the Tennis Canada Long-Term Athlete Development Plan Guidelines to help them develop into National and International level players.

When: Monday - Friday 6 - 8am
Cost:
3 days: $6,960.
4 days: $8,960.
5 days: $10,800.
COMPLEMENTARY PROGRAMS
U9 - U10 COMPETITIVE TRAINING AND MATCH PLAY 
OTA orange and green court players who are not registered in the full-time academy are invited to join this program.
Evaluation is mandatory.
When: Saturday 7 - 9am. Format: Tennis and Fitness.
Cost: $2,350.

U12 - U18 COMPETITIVE TRAINING AND MATCH PLAY 
This program is available to players of national and provincial standards. OTA players who are not registered in the full-
time academy are invited to join this program.
When: Sunday 7 - 9:30am. Format: Tennis and Fitness.
Cost: $2,350.


GENERAL INFORMATION
We offer Systematic, Progressive, Integrated Training Environment
This means that all curriculums for Ace’s programs are designed in a manner that ensures progressive development when graduating from one program to the other.

Annual Program Planning
All players in the competitive stream are provided an annual group training plan.

Academic assistance 
With the help of our Educational Advisors Nancy Sisman and Helen Donohoe, ACE can assist academy players with School Transfers into local schools that are close to the academy, and SAT Preparation - Helen Donohoe provides free SAT classes every Saturday in Burlington and is available for private sessions. ACE can also provide assistance to players seeking NCAA Scholarships.

Tournaments
Ace operates over 50 international, national and provincial sanctioned tournaments per year.

Tournament Coaching 
Ace provides tournament coaching at select events.
 
Toronto Tennis City Memberships
A TTC Membership is included in all competitive programs.

Programs do not run on statutory holidays: 
  • Labour Day: Monday September 7, 2020
  • Thanksgiving: Monday October 12, 2020
  • Christmas Break: December 21, 2020 - January 3, 2021
  • Family Day: Monday February 15, 2021
  • March Break: Monday March 15, 2021 - Sunday March 21, 2021
  • Good Friday: Friday April 2, 2021
  • Easter Sunday: Sunday April 4, 2021

The instalment plan is outlined below:
 
20% of fees - due on registration
10% of fees - due on October 12, 2020 
10% of fees - due on November 12, 2020
10% of fees - due on December 12, 2020
10% of fees - due on January 12, 2021
10% of fees - due on February 12, 2021
10% of fees - due on March 12, 2021
10% of fees - due on April 12, 2021
10% of fees - due on May 12, 2021

All prices are subject to hst.
 
*Competitive Training (Saturday) does not qualify for the pay in full discount.

CANCELLATIONS
Progressive programs: Cancellations to any registered program must be requested 2 weeks PRIOR to the first day of the session for an eligible refund. All refunds will be subject to a $35.00 cancellation fee. Requests within 2 weeks prior to the start of the session will be eligible for a partial refund. No refunds are allowed once the session has started. 

Competitive Programs: The competitive program is a full commitment for the 10 month program, regardless if paid in full or on instalment plan. Fees outlined are based on a 10 month commitment. Players who do not complete the academy year or who only participate for a short term will be charged on a short rate basis*. Missed sessions due to sickness, injuries, vacation, the weather** or other reasons are not reimbursed. All efforts are made to provide an opportunity for make-up classes within the program, IF space is available. Pro rated fees are not offered for days absent or other program services not utilized. 

Summer & Holiday Camps: Cancellations to any registered camp must be requested 2 weeks prior to the first day of the camp to be eligible for a refund. All refunds will be subject to a $35.00 cancellation fee. Missed sessions due to sickness, injuries, vacations, the weather or other reasons are not reimbursed. Pro rated fees are not offered for days absent or other program services not utilized. Full fees are due and payable if a child is registered and attends any part of the weekly session.  

*The minimum fee charge is 30%, with a rate of 150% of the monthly pro-rated fee used for any length of time attended.
