Front Runner Trackstars program holds a firm focus on developing correct running technique and building all-round fitness. Teaching children the Skill of Running, will stay with them for the rest of their lives. 


This term we specialise in preparing all children for School Athletics Carnivals with the coaches targeting Sprints, Starts and Running Technique to increase the athletes’ confidence for carnival day. Training will target sprints, middle distance, jumps, pacing & relays!

2023 Perth Marathon Training Programmes

Are you looking to run your first OR fastest Marathon at this year’s 2023 Perth Marathon on Sunday 8th October? 


Front Runner Sports have developed a 12 week training plan specifically to help you beat your best at the 2023 Perth Marathon. With 3 different training plans available* (sub 4h 30min, sub 4h or sub 3h 30min), we have a training solution for you.


Commencing Monday 17th July, your 12 week program is onlky$270.00 and includes:


  • Program designed by Front Runner coaching team, Australia’s trusted experts in Marathon coaching with thousands of successful completions, PB’s & 116 sub 3hr marathoners and growing monthly.
  • Initial meeting with your Front Runner coach to go through program and prescribe training zones.
  • Email support from your coach through the 12 weeks.
  • Option of group training sessions to assist with consistency, education and motivation. ($14 per group session).
  • Flexibility to attend 1 or 2 group training sessions per week – only pay for sessions you attend.
  • Training program delivered via Training Peaks, sessions delivered daily to your inbox.
  • Once registered simply email admin@frontrunnersports.com.au to set up your meeting and begin your programme.

Course Pre-Requisites 

  • In order to undertake this 12wk marathon training program, we recommend runners can currently jog for 17-21km non stop.

Junior Athletic Endurance-

The Front Runner Junior Endurance squad is a successful & trusted training pathway for boys and girls aged 10-15 years.


Sessions are coached by Jacinta Key & Frank Bowyer with management oversight from Ben Green (Coaching Director).


WEEKLY TRAINING SCHEDULE:

  • Tuesday Speed 5.30pm-6.45pm WA Athletics Stadium, Mt Claremont*
  • Thursday Intervals 5.30pm-6.45pm Lake Monger (Dodd Street end) 
  • Saturday Hills & Core 7.30am-9.00am Front Runner HQ (Harborne St, Wembley) 


*Please note: $4 Venues West entry fee applies to WA Athletics Stadium, for athletes only
