Achilles Takes Over TD Garden

The 500-mile Achilles Relay kicked off on Monday at the iconic TD Garden in Boston, MA with a special tour and ceremony sponsored by TD Bank. Athletes from Achilles Boston and veterans from the Achilles Freedom Team ran through the city with support from the local police to raise awareness and celebrate disability inclusion. The veterans are on their way to the next set of Achilles chapters. Follow #AchillesRelay on social media all week to see athletes from Connecticut, NYC, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. in action.

Meet Meg Moore of Middlebury, CT


"I joined Achilles Connecticut not only because it is a great opportunity to connect with other runners of all abilities but also because it provides me with a support system and network of guides who know my needs, how my assistive equipment works and who are willing to run with me," says Meg Moore, 26, an athlete born with Cerebral palsy.
