Cathedral Day 2022: Returning to Our Roots
May 7, 10:30am | Saint Mark's Cathedral, Seattle

Cathedral Day is a celebration of the community of the Diocese of Olympia—a "family reunion" for Episcopalians from across western Washington. Both Cathedral Day 2020 and Cathedral Day 2021 were cancelled due to the pandemic, but Cathedral Day will be back in May 2022, with all the fun and fellowship of this beloved tradition. This is a time for connecting across communities, experiencing your cathedral in a new light... and a lot of fun. There’s something for everyone—no matter your age! You can join in the festivities in-person at Saint Mark’s if you’re able to be physically present, or join remotely via the live-stream if you have a health condition, physical limitation, or any other reason that prevents you from attending in-person.

Invite Chaplains on the Harbor to Speak at Your Church
As we adjust to this pandemic world, Chaplains on the Harbor is again available to guest speak or preach at congregations around the diocese. Rev Sarah and Rev Bonnie would be happy to preach-- and our staff would love to present about our work at coffee hours or other events. Over the past two years, we have settled in to our new farm and continued to do outreach, visit jails, and run feeding programs and cold weather shelters in Grays Harbor County. We have also continued our involvement in advocating for the rights of homeless and poor people and continued building our connections with the Poor People's Campaign. We would love to share more about our work with you all or offer training to other churches who want to do similar work. To schedule, please email the Rev Bonnie Campbell at bcampbell@chaplainsontheharbor.com. Thank you!

St. Saviour's, Riga Seeks Postcard Across Anglican Communion
Each year in Latvia at the end of May, St. Saviour's Anglican Church in Rīga has a country-wide event called "Baznīcu nākts" (Night of Churches) where almost every church hosts concerts, lectures, discussions, etc, and visitors will visit multiple churches throughout the night. Their church also usually displays different exhibitions of art done by their members, and this year they would like to display postcards from many different churches throughout the Anglican world! They would be grateful your church could send a postcard with a small message for St. Saviour's or for Latvia in general written, preferably one with your church pictured if possible. If you don't have one with the church building visible, any postcard from your parish will do! If a postcard isn't possible at all, you can also send a picture of your church along with a digital greeting to admin@anglicanriga.lv that they can print out in postcard size. They will make sure to display them so both sides are visible and your messages are visible as well. If you are so kind as to send them one, they will send you one back as well! Their address is: St. Saviour's Anglican Church Anglikāņu iela 2 Rīga, LV-1050 Latvia

Please see the practice pages for in-person contemplative practice opportunities and let us know if you’d like to have your in-person meeting information included. Feel free to join as convenient for you. It would be very helpful as we plan our programming to hear about how our schedule suits yours. If we have enough interest around an additional day/time, we may be able start a new group. Please contact Sylvia Sepulveda at ssepulveda@ecww.org or 206.325.4200 x2042.
