Striving for Justice & Peace:
The 111th Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia

Will you strive for justice and peace among all people and respect the dignity of every human being?
I will, with God’s help.

Join us for the 111th Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia as we attempt to live into the promise made in our Baptismal Covenant to strive for justice and peace, respecting the dignity of all. It will be a time to gather virtually in community for workshops and worship, a time to assemble remotely once more as we do the work of the diocese. Join us as we gather together once more as the Body of Christ - with God’s help.

Updates from the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Union of Black Episcopalians
From Daniel Jones, President of UBE Pacific Northwest:

Ethnic Ministries' Black/African American Circles of Color has extended a warm invitation to the Diocese of Oregon for those who identify as Black or African American.
The idea of adding a Black-exclusive meeting to the UBE Pacific Northwest Chapter schedule has been under consideration for a year. However, I needed to ensure that if we started anything as important as this it would also be sustainable and have well-defined goals.
The opportunity is now here to gather the community of Black Episcopalians in the Pacific Northwest under the umbrella of the Ethnic Ministries Circles of Color which supports the mission of our Chapter.
