FORMA: National Faith Formation Conference

(Hosted by the Diocese of Olympia)

January 27-20 | Brunett Retreat Center at the Palisades | $120 – $295 Registration (Scholarships Available)

All ministry leaders who work in faith formation – clergy, staff, and volunteers – are invited to experience the annual Forma Conference in community. The Diocese of Olympia will host a west coast gathering at the Retreat Center at the Palisades, just south of Seattle. The Retreat Center is located on 39 forested acres and on a beachfront bluff overlooking Puget Sound – the perfect place to “rest a while.” We’ll balance our time viewing an amazing array of conference speakers and workshop sessions with time for thoughtful discussion, as well as sharing of best practices, strategic planning, and spiritual enrichment.

Updates from the Bishop's Task Force on Homelessness

"It starts with belief in our faith, in loving our neighbors as ourselves. It is how we live into our Baptismal Covenant, that we strive for justice and peace among all people and respect the dignity of every human being. That it is also living in communion with all, within and outside our church. This forms the basis for why we even serve in the first place."

This week's update from the Bishop's Task Force on Homelessness explores efforts from churches across the Diocese to serve the homeless in Western Washington.
