Updates from the Refugee Resettlement Office
The Diocese of Olympia's Refugee Resettlement Office (RRO) is continuing to provide support for Afghan refugees arriving in Western Washington. Greg Hope, the RRO's Executive Director, has provided an update on their efforts and discusses ways individuals and churches and support their work.

Seeking Canon for Multicultural Ministry and Community Transformation
Ethnic Ministries Circles of Color and the Office of the Bishop are seeking a Full Time Canon for Multicultural Ministry and Community Transformation. The Canon will support ethnic congregations, including the development of such congregations, and will engage the larger communities on issues of racial justice and reconciliation. The Canon will be in active relationship with the Ethnic Ministries Circles of Color network and with the Office of the Bishop. The search team will be receiving names until December 15, 2021.

Episcopal Relief & Development Launches Year-End Match Campaign
Episcopal Relief & Development is kicking off its annual Year-End Match, offering supporters the opportunity to transform lives with twice the impact this holiday season. Thanks to a very generous group of donors, contributions that Episcopal Relief & Development receives between now and the end of the year will be doubled, dollar for dollar, up to a total of $650,000.

The ECWW Contemplative Practices Online Community
Our online contemplative group practices are like those offered at many in-person churches in the diocese, but primarily serve contemplatives from small churches/communities without in-person resources or for whom current in-person meeting times aren’t convenient. Please see the practice pages for in-person contemplative practice opportunities and let us know if you’d like to have your in-person meeting information included. Feel free to join as convenient for you. It would be very helpful as we plan our programming to hear about how our schedule suits yours.
