🌞 Hello June!

Summer Learning, Fresh Ideas & Bright Opportunities

After Memorial Day

As we celebrate Memorial Day weekend and move through the last week of May, we pause with thankful hearts. Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave so much in service to our country.

It is also a meaningful moment to reflect, recharge, and prepare for the bright days ahead. June brings warmer weather, longer days, and new opportunities to grow, learn, and shine in early childhood education.

At ChildCareEd, we are welcoming June with fresh training, classroom inspiration, career support, and sunny savings for educators, directors, and child care professionals.

🌈 Emotion Meltdown Management

Summer Tip: Preventing Meltdowns in Toddlers and Preschoolers

Summer fun can sometimes lead to big feelings. Heat, busy schedules, missed naps, and extra excitement can cause toddlers and preschoolers to feel overwhelmed.

  • Help prevent meltdowns by offering water breaks, quiet time, shade, and simple choices throughout the day.

When a meltdown happens, stay calm, use a gentle voice, and give the child time to cool down and feel safe.
