"Howl" Can We Let This Happen?

Against all scientific evidence, the Trump administration made a politically-motivated decision to remove gray wolves from the endangered species list.

And if the Biden administration doesn’t act now, new laws in several states will soon reverse all the gains wolves have made in the past 40 years.

Earlier this year, a shocking wolf hunt in Wisconsin massacred over 200 wolves in less than 60 hours! In Idaho, hunting started July 1 and could result in the killing of 90% of the state’s wolf population. And Montana is looking to wipe out 80% of their wolves as well.

Since nearly becoming extinct in the 1970s, gray wolf populations in the U.S. have rebounded from less than 300 to over 6,000.

Wolves still roam less than 10% of their historic range, and could once again be pushed to the brink of extinction!

Gray wolves are an ecosystem guardian across the northern United States. Without wolves to keep other species in check, ecosystems become disrupted, negatively impacting all other wildlife.

Wolves faced a very uncertain future even before these ill-conceived new eradication laws were put in place.
