Funding for KidsCare Needed
Please write your state representatives and senators TODAY and ask them to support removing the freeze on KidsCare in the state budget.
- KidsCare provides high quality, affordable health care to children from low income working families
- About 35,000 Arizona children are covered by KidsCare
- Arizona cannot afford to lose KidsCare again
- Since 2016, KidsCare has served 114 children with cancer, almost 8,000 children with behavioral health services, over 5,000 children with autism, and almost 3,500 children with asthma
- The freeze on KidsCare funding must be removed before 10/1/2019 when the federal match for the program drops below 100%
- Investing in children's health care saves money in the long run by providing preventative healthcare services
