Action Alert: Donations Requested for Llena la Media "Fill the Stocking" Initiative
Help us Celebrate Christmas on the Border
Join Immigration Ministries, Team Brownsville, and Senda de Vida for the Llena la Media "Fill the Stocking" Initiative. There are over 400 children residing in the tent encampment and local shelters in Matamoros and Rio Bravo, and you and your congregation have the opportunity to send some holiday cheer to families at the border. Whether you donate and fill a stocking yourself, or coordinate an in-person or virtual stocking stuffing event with your congregation, your help will make this Christmas special for many.

Please review the list of suggested requested items listed below, and sign up to participate using the button link.

Stockings and items should be enclosed in a package and mailed directly to:

Storage Perfecto
1045 Mexico Blvd
Brownsville, Texas 78520

OR

All donations may be delivered to the Bishop Jones Center (111 Torcido Dr., San Antonio, TX 78209) in San Antonio on Monday, November 30th and Tuesday, December 1st, during business hours.

Immigration Ministries will be sending updates on the number of stockings completed, as we aim to reach 400 total stockings. We invite you to share pictures of your stocking stuffing, letter writing, or mailing process with immigration@dwtx,org, as we would love to see the photos of your work!

On behalf of Immigration Ministries, we wish you and loved ones a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday. We give great thanks for your ongoing support and investment in this ministry.
