In what amounts to an epic assault on human lives, the U.S. House of Representatives has passed the so-called Women's Health Protection Act.
The measure is an effort to "codify" Roe v. Wade, meaning that even if Roe v. Wade were struck down, any and all efforts by the states to protect unborn children would remain illegal under federal law. But the law would go even further, banning even modest abortion regulations such as informed consent and parental involvement laws. If this bill is passed by the Senate, President Biden will most assuredly sign it, and the pro-life cause be set back 50 years.
Pennsylvania's Senator Bob Casey is one of the few Senate Democrats who have exhibited at least some pro-life leanings over the years, so it is worth trying to win his support on this critical matter. In an evenly divided Senate, Casey's vote could be pivotal.
The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation (Pennsylvania's largest grassroots pro-life organization with offices in Harrisburg and local chapters statewide) is recommending that each of us take the somewhat unusual step of contacting BOTH Senator Casey's Washington, DC office and his nearest local office.
REQUESTED ACTION: Contact U.S. Senator Bob Casey's Erie and Washington, DC offices and leave the message: Please vote NO on the Women’s Health Protection Act (H.R. 3755 / S.1975).

National Right to Life (America's oldest and largest grassroots pro-life organization with offices in Alexandria, Virginia) is similarly sounding the alarm.
