TEP Interconnection Rules Violations:
At our previous member meeting, we had an extensive discussion about the enforcement of interconnection rules. Today, we learned that the ACC apparently has not seen any compliance complaints from any contractors for interconnection rules violations.
The ACC wants to hear these specific complaints so they can take action and impose penalties on TEP for noncompliance.
We are requesting all AriSEIA member companies who have had issues to submit complaints for interconnection rules violations in order to resolve the issue and provide the Commission with the information needed to ensure compliance.
There are two ways to submit complaints, and we encourage you to do
both
in order to ensure your complaint is received.
1. To file a complaint into the docket, complete the following steps:
- If you do not currently have an account, scroll down and click on the green register button to create an account.
- If you do have an account, enter your username and password to login.
- Once you have logged in, click "make a public comment," fill out the form. Be sure to include docket number: RE-00000A-07-0609 (once you fill in the docket number, the company name will populate). Mark your position and add your complaint to the opinion section, click submit.
- If you are unable to complete the steps above, you can call the Arizona Corporation Commission Utilities Division line directly at 602-542-4251 or 1-800-222-7000 (if outside Phoenix metro area), *be sure to reference the docket number.*
2. Please be sure to copy your complaint and also email it to ACC

APS Clean Energy Announcement:
We were happy to learn yesterday that APS has committed to a clean energy future. This announcement follows in the footsteps of many investor-owned utilities throughout the country, but AriSEIA would like to see this commitment expanded to include solar industry stakeholders in a more meaningful way.
