United Way of Northeast Louisiana Pacesetter Companies
Pacesetter companies are select workplace campaigns that are asked to lead the way and run in advance of the annual workplace campaign.
Pacesetters stand out as community leaders – they know that an investment in United Way of Northeast Louisiana helps people and strengthens our community.
These companies will be recognized at our Campaign Kickoff events on Saturday, September 10th: LA Tech home opener at 6 p.m. and ULM home opener at 7 p.m.
To all the United Way Pacesetters, thank you for your commitment to supporting United Way’s work in Northeast Louisiana! You model what it means to LIVE UNITED.

Entergy / Entergy Louisiana Partnership with United Ways in Louisiana
United Way of Northeast Louisiana was pleased to partner with Entergy to provide Entergy Bill Assistance to our region. Effective Thursday, August 18th at 10:00 a.m. CST, United Way NELA’s online only application process ended.
Our goal is to have applications reviewed as soon as possible. On a first come, first serve basis, applicants will be notified. Notifications will be sent via email. No further action is needed by the applicants.

Faces of United Way NELA: Courtney Jackson, Campaign Associate
Courtney Jackson serves as a Campaign Associate. She works with volunteers, donors, and local businesses to run workplace campaigns, gives presentations on United way services, and cultivates relationships between United Way and the community.
Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana Tech University. She is passionate about advocating for a more equitable society for all and believes that real change starts in the community. She is an active member of Cook Baptist Church in Ruston and a volunteer at Life Choices of NELA.
In her free time, you might find Courtney coordinating and assisting at weddings, kayaking or watching The Office with her husband, Jack, or going on adventures with her pup, Honey.

Through volunteer, social, and career development opportunities, members of Young Leaders UNITED develop skills, knowledge, and a relationship with United Way NELA to create lasting change for generations to come through their engagement with Young Leaders UNITED and United Way NELA. They also have the opportunity to cultivate philanthropic giving alongside impact work.
The goal of Young Leaders UNITED is to enable members to build long-term, meaningful engagement with United Way, and to cultivate the future volunteer leaders of United Way and its community partners.
