We need to make our U.S. Senators aware of our opposition to the Build Back Better Act that has passed the U.S. House. The Congressional Budget Office has scored the House-passed bill at about $2.4 trillion. Way too much for what we can afford!
Even though the legislation that passed the House will need to be changed to fit the Senate rules, it is critical that we make our Senators understand that the bill is faulty in what it is attempting to accomplish. We also need to make it known that there are serious problems with the process that has been used.
The Consumer Price Index is at a 31 year high and has jumped 6.2 percent since this same time last year. Inflation is driving up costs throughout the economy and greatly increased spending is a major reason.
