2019 Measure Development Opportunities
PQA Members Can Appoint Individuals and Apply to Important Groups
PQA members are invited to get involved in our 2019 measure development efforts. We currently have two important opportunities. Now through Friday, March 8 -- the deadline is two weeks from today -- PQA is accepting appointments and applications for the following groups.

2019 Stakeholder Advisory Panel A:
Measure Development
  • Opportunity for: Up to two individuals at PQA member organizations, appointed by the organization's Key Contact.

  • Action Steps: PQA member organization Key Contacts appoint their representatives by visiting the PQA web site and completing the SAP appointment form. Individuals interested in participating on SAP A should contact the PQA Key Contact for their organization to express interest. If you do not know your Key Contact, email us at engagement@PQAalliance.org.

  • Deadline: Appointments should be made by Friday, March 8, at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Notes: SAP A will hear updates on and provide input into measure concepts currently under development, and new measure development launching in Q1 of this year, including:
  • Insulin Persistence
  • Specialty Pharmacy Turnaround Time
  • Use of Medications to Prevent Cardiovascular Outcomes in Persons with Diabetes (New)

The online appointment form will continue to be available beyond March 8. However, we encourage you to make SAP appointments by this date to avoid participants missing important communications.

SAP A will meet via webinar for 90 minutes on the third Tuesday of odd numbered months at 2:00 p.m. ET: March 19, May 21, July 16, September 17, November 19.
New for 2019 : Any individual from a PQA member organization may join the SAP calls. SAP A appointees can share the registration link with colleagues within their organization. SAP A appointees will respond to post-SAP A meeting surveys on behalf of their organization.

Use of Medications to Prevent Cardiovascular Outcomes in Persons with Diabetes
  • Opportunity for: Interested individuals at PQA member organizations.


  • Deadline: Applications must be received by Friday, March 8, at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Notes: Applicants should hold Thursday, March 21, 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET, for the launch of MDT 16, pending selection. Applicants will be notified by March 14.
