Value of Volunteer Time Rose 3% in 2018

Independent Sector  has announced that the  estimated value of a volunteer hour  in the U.S. reached  $25.43  in 2018, up nearly 3 percent from $24.69 in 2017. In all, 63 million Americans currently volunteer about 8 billion hours with an estimated value of approximately $203.4 billion to nonprofit organizations.
